Permission Letter
To use the song that is produced and song by Halsey we decided that we needed to ask for the permission for its use. Therefore, we used the form of social media where she posts regularly to inform her about our Media Studies project.
BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
As a group following the success of our lip sync footage we recognised that Halsey had performed an acoustic radio 1 live lounge performance of our chose song- Hold Me Down. Therefore, we decided to try and recreate our own version as a part of practice for the main music video. There were 3 different camera set up with different angles giving us a variety of angles so the live lounge was intriguing to watch. In fact, we learnt more about lighting and angle choices that will help us produce a higher quality of shots when filming next. Lastly, the performance really enhances the ideology that Alicia fits into the Electropop artist even when it is an acoustic version.
MTV Interview
To learn more about Tori Lorente we decided to film an MTV interview where she visits her old school. Tori answered questions to discuss her music video release, general lifestyle and questions from fans through the social media platform; Twitter. Due to MTV conventionally having an urban feel, the introduction included a quick cuts of Tori about to become interviewed and also amazed at vast changes and memories she once had at the Great Baddow High School.
As a group we felt the interview was very entertaining to film and also watch which meant that audiences could learn more about Tori which was our primary purpose. Also, we again learnt more about editing which included stutter effects and saturation changes which can be useful as we prepare to film for the music video.

This was our first attempt of our artist website. We originally liked the simple template and the monochromatic colour scheme. However, after a while we thought that it looked too amateur and as though there was minimal effort put into the design of it. Although we have not completed adding photos, etc to the website (shown in the screenshots), We decided to stop working on this template and start working on another. Immediately the new website template fits our artist personality and style a lot better and appears more professional.
